The images in the last post of all the students are from the first day of the class. This blog has been set up midway through our course, after the conclusion of the first week. The entire course is for 3 weeks.
During this course we are looking at design processes of investigation, analyses, mapping and synthesis. Identifying design opportunities and creating appropriate design interventions. We will look at real life contexts and engage with issues and perspectives impacting design. These explorations are intended to set in motion a process of questioning, searching for directions and hopefully students will develop their own methods in response to varied design challenges.

ReplyDeleteGood to see images of all the IICD first years PG student’s involved with Design Methodology course in their blog -Dexters. I am sure this course will help them to look at and deal with the ‘unknown’ features and aspects of design. This self-realization will help steer the students to think, inquire, explore, confront and propose remarkable means to deal with all the nuances and challenges of craft design.
